I Said Ladies

Watching Miami Ink last night, there was this awesome tatt of a pin up girl, it got me all inspired. This is not my usual style, my works are usually more agressive and marks more harsh. This is not to say that this isn't very pretty all the same.

The Bronze Horseman

I've been reading 'The Bronze Horseman' by Paullina Simons, my little sister got me onto it, thanks Cat. It's one of the many reasons I've been so slack in posting this week, the other is my 4.30am starts at my 'real' job. Anyway I'm so into this story and had to have a play with some of the imagery going on in my head, this is the first happenings of that, it is titled appropriately 'Tatiana'.

Birds and Joy

These are a few drawings of mine, the last one is a favourite Joy Hester work that I've appropriated and entitled 'Ode to Joy'. That lady was so freaking talented, I love her style. The bird drawings are just some more pretty pictures inspired by old wallpaper and china patterns.

Macro Setting

Finally found the macro setting on my camera and therefore plan to make up for lost time. These are some pictures of different pairs of earrings I've made. The origami crane pairs are some of my favourites, so cool but I think the cutlery pairs are right on trend with all the Alice in Wonderland things about. To be honest I've got heaps of different pairs sitting round the house. I'm just so slack I never get around to doing the weekend markets but on the bright side having massive amounts of jewellery and artworks means I have ready made birthday gifts for all my beloved friends and family (this means you big sister 26th March). Maybe I'll get around to selling some on my Made It shop...

Stupid Face

I hate the way I've drawn my face. 1. it looks stupid and 2. it doesn't even look like me. I hate everything!!

This was suppose to be a recording of my day to day business in my journal, a way to keep me focused and make sure I keep drawing everyday. It has turned into a kind of What I wore and other ramblings, which = a big incoherent mess.

Also I have this real sense of unease today, like I'm on the verge of some huge anxiety attack. Go away.

Mad Men

Just some sketches from my journal, I did these after watching hours and hours of Mad Men on dvd. I can't seem to get enough of this show, looking forward to season 4, oh and cocktail hour. Mmm yum.
